I can’t believe the year is up already! As usual, I found my motivation late. I’m going to keep going with my writing over the break as I’m trying to establish good habits and a schedule that works for me. I’m also a little relieved that it is the final check in for 2019. It has been a hectic year and I could use a breather on a lot of things. I’ve been preparing for this goals post for a couple of weeks now. I got some things done in 2019, but I don’t feel like I have enough to show for it in terms of my writing progress. Next year, I’m doing things a little differently to hopefully meet more of my targets. I have sections in my planner where I can log my progress. Many of my goals are actually habit tracking exercises. It has been a while since I last posted. Life is always throwing me curveballs. My current project is to find my next day job, but I'm also catching up on things around the house. One such thing is repairing my favourite belt. This is its second repair. The first didn't last long. That time, I tried wood glue because it's what I had on hand. This time I'm using Aleene's Original Tacky Glue in this container: So far, it seems better than wood glue. I may get something to reinforce the holes at some point as well. Aside from this, I've been working on a barn style sliding door, which is temporarily stalled until I can get a circular saw to trim the top of it. Long story short, the instructions for the hangers' holes left me with no room between the track and the door.
