Touching Base

It has been a while since I last posted. Life is always throwing me curveballs. My current project is to find my next day job, but I'm also catching up on things around the house. One such thing is repairing my favourite belt. This is its second repair. The first didn't last long. That time, I tried wood glue because it's what I had on hand. This time I'm using Aleene's Original Tacky Glue in this container: So far, it seems better than wood glue. I may get something to reinforce the holes at some point as well. Aside from this, I've been working on a barn style sliding door, which is temporarily stalled until I can get a circular saw to trim the top of it. Long story short, the instructions for the hangers' holes left me with no room between the track and the door. It left me feeling like screaming as Charlie Brown does when nothing seems to go his way. I'm also putting my old theatre tees into a quilt in between writing, job searching, and r
